The Gulf of Papagayo, Up Close
The Gulf of Papagayo sits on Guanacaste's northern Pacific coast, one of the few places on this coastline where deep water starts close to shore. Half-day trips (4 to 6 hours) work the nearshore rocky points for roosterfish and snapper. Full-day trips (6 to 8 hours) run out to the marlin, sailfish, and tuna grounds. Every charter includes a local captain, full tackle, and pickup from your hotel beach.

Hotel Pick-Up Available
We pick you up from your beach at 15+ resorts across Peninsula Papagayo, Playas del Coco, Playa Flamingo and more. The boat waits in the bay about 100 m out, and a dinghy brings you to it. Where no boat can reach, we arrange ground transport.
